1. Code of Conduct

  • Faithfulness in Service: Act with respect and integrity.

  • Alcohol: Permission required from Parish Council.

  • Smoking & Prohibited Activities: Follow NT law.

  • Access Control: Provided by Cathedral office.

  • Lock-up Procedure: Ensure all doors are locked before leaving.

4. Facilities & Use

  • Church Lights:

    • Switch on with power button in bottom left, please do not change fan speed

  • Sound System:

    • Please let the office know if you need to use the sound system

    • Microphones top drawer in Flower Room and AA batteries to be put in rechargers next to fridge after use [Microphone and battery chargers]

    • Sound system procedure: follow the shutdown procedure carefully [Sound System Procedure]

  • Harbor Room:

    • Capacity: 60.

  • Kitchen: No children, beware hot surfaces, wash/dry/put away all items used.

  • Toilets: Keep clean and tidy.

  • Kitchen Store Room: Spare toilet paper and hand towels.

  • Cleaning: Store room between toilets.
    Expectation: All spaces left clean and tidy as found.

5. Waste & Sustainability

  • Waste Disposal:

    • Empty indoor bins into outside bins behind kitchen.

    • Replace bin liners (available in kitchen).

  • Energy Saving:

    • Turn off lights, fans, and all unnecessary electrical equipment during and after use.

6. First Aid

  • AED & First Aid Kit Location: Both are located in the kitchen.

  • Emergency Contact: Dial 000 immediately in case of an emergency.

  • Report Incident: Notify the Cathedral office after emergency services have been contacted.

  • Raise any concerns or feedback with the Parish office.
