2026 Annual Meeting Papers and Declaration

Our Annual Christ Church Cathedral Parish Meeting for 2026 will be held on:

Meeting papers

All papers for the Annual Meeting will be published via the following links as they are received. This will include reports, financial statements, the draft budget, nominations, and any resolutions for the meeting.

Key dates

In line with the Parishes Ordinance, the following dates apply:

• Nominations and resolutions due by:
  Saturday 14 February 2026

• Nominations and resolutions published from:
  Sunday 15 February 2026
  (at least 7 days before the meeting)

Nominations for People’s Churchwardens, Parish Council members, and Lay Representatives to Synod must be in writing, signed by the nominee and two parishioners, and sent to the office email address cathedral@ntanglican.org.au given to the Dean (Rob) or a Churchwarden (Teresa Schwellnus or Michael Patrick) by the due date. Any extraordinary resolutions must also be submitted by this date.

Taking part in the meeting

Parishioners who are eligible under the Ordinance may take part in the meeting. A quorum of ten parishioners is required.

To participate, you must sign the annual meeting declaration on the day:

I have been baptised.

I am not less than 18 years of age.

I am a member of the Anglican Church of Australia.

I have attended Church in the parish of Christ Church Cathedral in at least:

· 12 weeks over the past year; or

· 6 of the past 12 weeks.

I do not claim to be a member of any other church.
