Advent 2025

As we approach the season of Advent, we are reminded of the glorious truth that our Lord Jesus Christ came once in humility and will come again in glory. This is a season for waiting, longing, and worship—anchored in the promises of God and cantered on Christ alone.

Beginning Advent November 28 and continuing through Epiphany on January 6, I will be following a daily liturgy of Scripture readings, prayers, and reflections from the book:

O Come, O Come Emmanuel: A Liturgy for Daily Worship from Advent to Epiphany by Jonathan Gibson

If you would like to join me in this rhythm of daily worship, you can purchase a copy here:

My hope is that as we read, pray, and meditate on God’s Word together—even if in our own homes—we will grow in our love for Christ and deepen our anticipation of His coming.

If you plan to join, please let me know. Perhaps we can also share encouragements or gather for prayer during this season.

“Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20)

In Christ,

Rob Llewellyn

Dean of Darwin
Rector of Christ Church Cathedral
