Mission of the Month: The Australian Society for Indigenous Languages (AuSIL)

The Australian Society for Indigenous Languages (AuSIL) is a faith-based, non-profit organisation committed to serving Indigenous communities through linguistic research, translation, training, and the development of language resources, with a particular focus on Christian Scripture and discipleship materials.

Praise God for the appointment of a new director for AuSIL, Brian Spoelman, who will work remotely from Malaysia and make periodic trips to Australia. Give thanks for his many years of experience in heading up language and translation projects, and for his personal warmth and humility. Pray for Brian as he settles into the director role, and that the long-distance leadership arrangement will work well.
