Mission of the Month: Anglican Board of Mission

THE ANGLICAN CHURCH OF HONG KONG

Pray for renewal and rejuvenation in the church, and in wider Hong Kong; pray for peace, and for the willingness to do what is right for the safety of others.
Pray for continued love and charity for those who have suffered, but are now slowly forgotten, especially for the survivors of the Tai Po fire. May God move us all to be forever vigilant in lending a helping hand, making known Christ’s love in our daily acts.
Give thanks to God for the ministries of many of our clergy, who have retired at the turn of the new year.

The Anglican Communion Cycle of Prayer:

The Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and The Middle East

Our Diocesan Cycle of Prayer:

THE DIOCESE BUNBURY
Bishop: Ian Coutts (Anne); clergy and people.

MINYERRI: ST BARNABAS’ CHURCH WITH ST JAMES’, KEWULYI
Priest-in-charge: Darryn Farrell (Beth); Kewulyi church leader: Mandy Sammy.
Pray that the Minyerri church will be effective in having contact with all age groups.

FAMILY VIOLENCE
We pray for all experiencing family violence. We also pray for those who choose to use violence - help them to change: to change their attitudes and their behaviour.
May they have a kind of epiphany about their behaviour and thinking that leads to deep and enduring respect for all people, especially women and children. Help those who suffer from family violence, especially gender-based - may they receive help, support and justice.
Help us all to be part of change where we can.

ABORIGINAL MINISTRY IN ALICE SPRINGS
Maggie Crewes (CMS)
Pray that Maggie will continue to learn well about the Central Australian context and have wisdom in seeking spiritual input for those she gets to know.
