Mission of the Month: Church Missionary Society

THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN JERUSALEM AND THE MIDDLE EAST

Pray for Divine Protection and earthly sustenance for the hundreds of thousands of refugees who have been forced to evacuate their homes in Gaza City.
Pray for similar protection and sustenance for those who have chosen to remain in their homes and workplaces in Gaza City, especially to those sheltering in Holy Comforter and St Porphrios churches, and in Al-Ahli Anglican Hospital.
Pray for a massive increase of food, potable water, fuel and medical supplies for the civilians inside Gaza.
Pray for a successful negotiated release of all captives, including any still being help in Gaza and the 11,000 being held as political prisoners in Israeli detention camps.
Pray for Holy protection against settler violence in the West Bank, especially for the Christian village of Taybeh, which has been the subject of many recent attacks.
Pray for justice for Layan Nasir and Shadeh Khoury who face many months of military detention on false charges.
Pray for a speedy end to the war and a rapid movement towards a just and lasting peace in the Holy Land, under an equitable Two-State solution.
