Mission of the Month: AuSIL
The Australian Society for Indigenous Languages (AuSIL) is a faith-based, non-profit organisation committed to serving Indigenous communities through linguistic research, translation, training, and the development of language resources, with a particular focus on Christian Scripture and discipleship materials.
Praise God for AuSIL’s good connections with Bible colleges around Australia, and for the young people who are expressing interest in this ministry field.
Give special thanks for the recent visit of two student mission teams from Moore College and Sydney Missionary & Bible College, and for the encouragement this was to us and them.
Pray that God will continue to raise up more workers to support Bible translation and Scripture use in Indigenous Australian communities.

ABORIGINAL MINISTRY IN GREATER DARWIN
Derek and Rosemary Snibson (CMS)
Pray for wisdom and strength for the Snibsons as they visit people in local communities, temporary accommodation, Alcohol Rehabilitation Centres, as well as Prison. Pray for the regular meetings and Bible studies with leaders that people will be equipped and encouraged to serve others.
Geoff and Hannah Harper (CMS IMW):
Pray for the work of the Harpers as they use their medical and linguistic skills to care for, assist and support Aboriginal people in the Top End.
